Ageing is not a disease!
How can we understand, and make people understand, the complex relationships between the main factors associated with active ageing? The Canada Research Chair on Inclusivity and Active Ageing takes into account aging people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those from minority or disadvantaged groups, by using unique and innovative methods to make better sense of the interdisciplinary knowledge of active aging.
The Canada Research Chair in Inclusiveness and Active Aging has three specific objectives:
Objective 1
Describe the relationships between psychosocial factors at work, health and job retention/return of aging people.
Objective 2
Describe the relationships between the psychosocial factors of different spheres of life, health and active ageing.
Objective 3
Facilitate inclusiveness in the application of knowledge on active ageing, including through technology.
